Remote Learning Resources - KQED Learn and More

I've long been a fan of the KQED Mindshift Blog, but I have to admit that I've never taken much of a deep dive into some of the incredible resources they have for teachers and learners. There are some incredible resources beyond the education post that are made for lifelong learners.

KQED Learn
KQED Learn is a free platform for middle and high school students to tackle big issues and build their media literacy and critical thinking skills in a supportive environment.

KQED Art School
Art School is a KQED Arts series featuring contemporary artists working in fine art, performance, digital art, and more. Meet professional artists and learn about their personal histories and intentions, then follow along as they demonstrate how to make all kinds of art, from comics to beatboxing rhythms. Get creative with the new wave of Art School. Tuition is free.

KQED Education YouTube Channel
KQED Education trains educators how to utilize digital media, bring media making into instruction to advance learning in various content areas, and how to integrate principles of media literacy into teaching and learning.

KQED Teach
KQED Teach offers a collection of free, hands-on professional learning opportunities focused on Digital Media. Educators can build skills in digital storytelling, data visualization, and critical media use to support all curriculum areas.
