My TCEA & IDEAcon Virtual Conference Resources

I've been lucky enough to attend several virtual conferences this school year. I've also been doing my best to learn and grow as an educator on my own. If you are curious, you can learn a little bit more about my professional development journey in this post

This month I am investing much of my professional development time on the TCEA & IDEAcon Virtual Conference. It has been an awesome experience so far and we are only on day 3 at the time of this post. You can learn more about the conference in this post

By the way, it's not to late to sign up for this incredible conference. Conference registration gives you access to an incredible collection of on-demand sessions, live sessions, EdTech vendors, engagement activities and so much more. You can learn more about registration here.

Today I wanted to share my conference resources and activities. My on demand session is connected to Google for Education. I have also been volunteering as a member of the IDEA Conference Team and I've been engaged in the conference hashtags. In addition, I am luck to part of an incredible team facilitating both a Book Study and a Twitter Takeover.

Google Secrets - Exploring Awesome Teaching & Learning Resources

Google and innovation go hand in hand. We all know that Google Drive, Google Classroom, and Chromebooks have become core resources for many schools. Classrooms are also engaging students with a host of awesome resources connected to Google. Join us as we explore some of Google’s hidden gems and learn that It’s not the tool, it’s how you use it to engage all students.
TCEA & IDEAcon Book Study

During the month of February, conference attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a book study and slow chat. Participants will choose and explore one of  four different books as they participate in the Book Study and Twitter Slow Chat.
Networking Lounge and Twitter Takeover

Confucius once said something along the lines that if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room. Educators know there is more to this idea. Instead of thinking about leaving the room, we understand that everyone in the room has something to contribute, in other words, the smartest person in the room is the room. We are better when we collaborate.
Join us as we collaborate and explore essential educational podcasts, video channels, websites, and blogs together throughout the day.
Grow your PLN as we spend the day exploring, networking, and collaborating together.
I will also continue to update my resources connected to the conference on my Professional Development Website.

Let me know if you have any questions. #HappyLearning
