I want to learn with these educators today, tomorrow, and in the future . . .

This started as a wishlist of some of the conference presenters I would love to see featured at an educational conference. I started building this list after exploring the ISTE 20 To Watch Award list of amazing educators. Now, I think it might be evolving into something more. #LeaveALegacy

Thanks to my PLN for helping with this. No list is ever complete, so please send me a Tweet or Message with additional suggestions. I will continue to update this list until I stop learning! (Hopefully, that means this will grow forever!

Summer Learning Opportunities & Professional Development Resources for Educators in 2023

How will you recharge this summer, but still find the time to grow as a teacher and learner?

We’ve created a list of virtual, self-paced, and in-person learning opportunities to share some opportunities and resources to support lifelong learners this summer.

Exercise for the Brain | End of Year Activity - The Future Belongs to the Curious

I have the unique opportunity to teach a class that is about half graduating Seniors. This means I have 4 days to engage my Juniors after my Seniors check out. We've completed our final projects, but I don't want to just have them sit and prepare for other finals.

Exercise your mind the same as you would exercise your body. Practice healthy mental habits that will help you, empower you, and improve your perspectives. Practice them daily. ― Akiroq Brost

Today I wanted to share an activity we are exploring to wrap up the year. My plan is to get my students to exercise their brains during class, while still allowing time for their other priorities.

#ClearTheList - May 2023 Teacher Appreciation Classroom Wishlist Challenge

Most teachers love what they do, but sometimes it is nice to feel appreciated. May 7th - May 12th is the official week to appreciate teachers in 2023. I've decided that May will be teacher appreciation month.

There a quite a few great ways to say thank you to teachers. Simple thank you's from students, parents, and colleagues matter a lot. A thank you card is always appreciated.

I want to thank every educator who has made a difference this year. I know it is not always easy, but I believe with all my heart that we are making a difference.

This May, I decided wanted to do something to brighten the day of some amazing teachers. I decided I am going to explore and do my best to share every teacher wishlist that I come across. I know it is not a big thing, but I hope it brightens at least one teacher's day.

I will update this document daily with new wishlist requests. I will also pin a post on my Twitter page where teachers can reply with their wishlists.
