Remote Learning Resources to Support Parents and Students

I've been amazed by the awesome learning resources so many educators are using to engage students during school closures. I've also been excited to see the great resources that are being created and shared for resources to support parents and students.

Recommended Resources to Help Parents Support Learning at Home

Learn@Home - Check out these learning channels offering videos, tutorials, and activities appropriate for all different ages and areas of interest.

Khan Academy - Free video-based lessons and activities. Khan has also created some sample student schedules for home learning and a collection of resources tailored for remote learning during school closures.

Picture Books for Parents, Teachers, and Learners - Padlet collection of books to engage learners in exploring important skills and ideas.

Smithsonian Learning Activities Choice Board - Sampling of recommended learning opportunities from across the Smithsonian in science, social studies, culture, and the arts. Includes hands-on and technology-enabled activities. There are additional great activities to support learners on the Smithsonian Distance Learning page.

Grow With Google - Work, teach, and learn from anywhere. In today's environment, more employees, educators, and students are working remotely. To help, Google gathered some free tools and resources you can use to stay connected and productive.

Common Sense Media Parent Resources - Expert reviews and hand-picked lists for quality entertainment and tech.

There are many more resources, so we've created this Padlet for anyone to share additional resources and ideas.
