I have long time been a fan of finding different ways to engage students in creative design and reflection. Memes and other creative drawing activities including emoji creation are regular parts of activities in my classroom.
Today I wanted to share a fun site shared by Lori Gracey on the TCEA blog that allows users to combine popular emojis to create something unique.
emojimix is a site and app that allows creators to combine popular emojis to create new emojis. Features include:
- Randomly combine emojis.
- Search for and combine emojis.
- Copy and paste creations.
- Share via link or using "Snip and Sketch".
- View "top" mixes and vote for favorites.
I think these mixes could be a great way for students to share their thoughts or reflections connected to a classroom concept or skill. How would you use this tool with students?
