Digital Whiteboards Resources for Teachers and Students


Whiteboards can be powerful tools to engage students in both remote and classroom learning experiences. Today I wanted to share a couple of digital whiteboard resources recommended by my PLN. 

Whiteboard.fi - Free online whiteboard tool for teachers and classrooms. See students' whiteboards in real time

AwwApp - A Web Whiteboard is touch-friendly online whiteboard app that lets you draw sketches, collaborate with others and share them with the world.

Flipgrid - Show your work by flipping on the Whiteboard Mode with Live Inking in topic videos or Flipgrid shorts. .

Chrome Canvas - Create your own designs with Canvas. Express yourself with natural brushes and hand-picked colors.

Explain Everything - Explain Everything is an easy-to-use design, screencasting, and interactive whiteboard tool that lets you annotate, animate, narrate, import, and export.

Google Jamboard - A collaborative, digital whiteboard makes it easy to create without boundaries and share ideas in real-time.

Padlet - Padlet is a digital canvas to create beautiful projects that are easy to share and collaborate on. It works like a piece of paper.

Autodraw

Miro - Fast, free, and simple-to-use digital whiteboard built to help you collaborate with others any time, anywhere.

Ziteboard - Lightweight whiteboard website which works on any device: laptops, tablets, mobile devices – optimized for both iPad's Safari and Google Chrome on laptops.

Formative - Assessment tool with a show your work feature that allows students to write or draw. 

Pear Deck - Add interactive drawing slides and more to an Google Slides or PowerPoint Deck. 

I've also used both Google Drawings and Google Slides to whiteboard with students.
