Modeling Lifelong Learning - Twitter Hashtags for Curious Educators

There are many great ways to grow as a teacher and learner. Social media has made all the difference in my growth and there are quite a few great social media resources to explore and share. I think twitter hashtags are still one of the easiest and most efficient ways to engage in a digital learning experiences connected to teaching and learning.

Today I wanted to share some of the educational hashtags and Twitter chats that I am exploring right now to help me grow as an educator.

Live Right Now

The #etcoaches ISTE PLN is hosting a free book study and twitter chat right now. The book is connected to authentic projects and is a great read for anyone connected to education. You can learn more about the book study here

The IDEA and TCEA Virtual Conference (ISTE Affiliates) is happening now and the #IDEAcon and #TCEA hashtags have been pretty active in February. It is free for everyone to explore and engage in the hashtags even if you are not a conference attendee. A great chat related to this conference is the #ILedchat and it is open to all educators across the world.

Google is releasing some updates for #GoogleEDU this week during Learning With Google Event and the #LearningWithGoogle will be a great place to explore resources connected to Google for Education over the next several weeks.

ISTE Recommendations for 2021

ISTE recently shared "44 Educational Twitter Chats Worth Your Time" and while there are many of these I've not had a chance to explore, some of my favorites are here.
