Retro Report has produced more than 250 short documentaries and video series in partnership with The New York Times, PBS, the New Yorker, VICE, Scientific American, NBC News, Politico, Time, The Guardian, Univision, and others.
Today I wanted to share another literacy resource connected to past and present events, Retro Reports.
I've watched and used a few Retro Report documentaries with my students multiple times over the past 5 years, but I only recently discovered some of the incredible teacher resources on the website.
The Retro Report YouTube Channel has some awesome short documentaries, but the resources on the website for teachers are also worth exploring. I would start with their new partnership with Pear Deck.
The Retro Report Library of lesson plans and videos is another great resource. Many of the videos are connected to detailed lesson plans and additional resources that can be used with the videos. Most are ready to go but can be modified to meet the needs of students in different subjects and grade levels.
